A Tale of Two Cities
Charles Darney was a Frenchman of noble family. He was first seen at the courthouse of Bailey in England were he was charged with treason by giving secret information, going to France and England. However he was found not guilty and was free to go, and went with a friend to drink on his release. He later went to his uncle the Marquis, at the castle of a poor town, and after stating one night their the Marquis was murdered. He left France and returned to England and remained their for a few months and one day he decided to marry Lucie Manette, the women that was in the courtroom of his trial. After a few days he Married her and moved to a new house and have been together for eight years. One day he received a letter saying his castle was in danger by the townsfolk and required his help, so he had to return to France. Unfortunately he was arrested when he arrived, the laws of France had changed: Any nobles who had left France to return or be put to death. When he had remained in prison for a year and three months he was finally called to court, but was released when they knew he was married to  Lucie's father; Doctor Manette, and many people knew him well. But the monument he was released, he was arrested again! This time it was being accused of being an Enenmy of the Republic, aristocrat, one of the family of tyrants, who have used their privileges to oppress the people. He unfortunately was found guilty this time and was sentence to death within twenty-four hours. However a plan was made for his escape, a man named Darnay would take his place and be executed while Charles escapes from France. All went well he escaped without anyone knowing, but who was involved in helping his escape and lived on until the end of his day.
